Off-White-Denim Blue Pure Katan Silk & Cotton Banarasi Handloom Saree

• Color - A delightful shot colour with a warp of Off-White and weft of Denim Blue
• Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
• Fabric - A combination of Pure Katan Silk and Pure Cotton 
• Speciality - Intricately detailed and individually handwoven kadhua butterflies scattered sparsely across the body of the saree and densely near the pallu. A denim-inspired weave runs along the length for a traditional twist to a timeless textile!
