'Mayuri' Yellow Pure Katan Silk Banarasi Handloom Saree

SUP0012

Mayuri

A visionary wonder - reimagining Banarasis through an artistic lens. This is an intricately woven, luxurious drape. Adorned with fine meenakari bootis, elegant borders and an exquisite pallu featuring regal garden pavilions, florals and peacocks. A quiet celebration of handloom heritage and creativity.

  • Color - A striking shade of Yellow
  • Technique An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
  • Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Katan silk
  • Speciality - Integrating the creative hand drawn imagery of renowned textile designer, Judunath Supakar, this gorgeously detailed bootidar drape features an intricate border and floral boota pallu in meticulous kadwa meenakari.
  • Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
  • Note - The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes.

Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
