Grey Pure Ektara Katan Silk Banarasi Handloom Saree
A plain silken body in the sublime Ektara weave, set against a delightful skirt border and pallu in zari and multi-hued meenakari. This handloom treasure offers a fresh take on traditional Banarasi design sensibilities. Elegant yet bold!
Color - A beautiful shade of Grey
Technique -An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
Fabric- Soft as butter, pure Katan silk
Speciality - This is an arresting saree with a remarkable confluence of weaving techniques. With a wonderfully woven kadwa meena border and pallu, this drape is certain to make a lasting impression. Subtle, soft and sophisticated!
Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
