Red-Gulabi Pink Pure Katan Silk Banarasi Handloom Saree
A beautiful and endearing Banarasi saree woven in Kadhua technique to perk things up on any day or evening. This delicate drape has a bootidaar silken body, accompanied by a delicate floral meenakari border.
Color - A charming shot colour with a warp of Red and a weft of Gulabi Pink
Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave coupled with Meenakari. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Katan silk
Speciality - A gorgeously detailed Meenakari floral border. Dainty roses adorn the border and pallu of this lovely saree.
Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
