  • Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.

• Dispatch:
  - All our sarees, dupattas and fabrics, unless they are running on pre-orders, are in stock with us and ready to ship.
  - Dispatch timelines for pre-order sarees are specified individually for each. These depend on the weaving complexity and the number of orders in queue.
  - Fall pico and/ or tassels are added only on request once an order is placed. These are done by hand and take 3 working days each to complete.
  - All our apparel is Made to Order. Dispatch timelines are specified individually for each garment.
  
  Delivery Times:
  - Delivery within India takes roughly 3-5 working days.
  

  - International deliveries take roughly 7-10 working days.
  

  
  Duties & Taxes:
  

  - Tilfi absorbs all International Duties & Customs charges for its overseas patrons, in countries where such fees may be applicable. We send out all our shipments Duties & Taxes paid.
  

  - In case a wrongful Duty amount has been applied to your shipment, please contact us and we will try to contest the charge. Please note that this is dependent on the Government in the country of Import and the dispute resolution timelines are not in our hands.

• Each and every product at Tilfi is handwoven and handcrafted using pure, natural fabrics.
  - Do not attempt to wash the garments at home. We recommend that you dry clean your product only when necessary.
  - Avoid exposure to moisture as it may damage the zari.
  - Avoid ironing directly on the zari and any direct contact with perfume.
  
  For Sarees:
  - You must air your saree from time to time and refold regularly to avoid creasing at the same location over an extended period of time.
  

  - Kora sarees or fine Jamdanis can also be rolled for storage.
  

  - It is also advisable to store silk sarees in a breathable, uncoloured, muslin cloth in a dry location.
