'Guldasta' Brown Pure Katan Silk Banarasi Handloom Saree
A joyful display of tradition and creativity. Rooted in heritage, this delicate Banarasi drape exudes timeless sophistication. Meticulously crafted in the exquisite kadwa weave with rose borders in gold zari and colourful floral bootas in masterly meenakari, this piece is Banarasi delicacy at its finest.
Color - A stunning shade of Brown
Technique -An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Katan Silk
Speciality - A dainty saree with subtle meena bootas and light gold zari borders and pallu. Breathing fresh life into the immersive textile illustrations of Jadunath Supakar, this is a thoughtfully crafted Banarasi that reflects the skill and dexterity of our expert artisans.
Tilfi Promise- Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
Note- The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
