Magenta-Purple Pure Katan Silk Banarasi Handloom Saree
Adah - "On Beauty"
For there wasn't a better way to live than surround oneself with beauty...a little music, a little poetry and fine afternoons.
In a world full of trends, choose a classic! A quintessential Banarasi with an evergreen, floral kadhua jangla pattern, delicately handwoven in zari. Gorgeous meenakari hues, set on a glorious base and zari vines...for a breathtaking masterwork!
Color - An enchanting shot colour with a warp of Magenta and a weft of Purple
Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
Fabric - Pure Katan Silk
Speciality - A stunning allover kadwa jaal makes this a fabulous and lasting piece of handloom art. An heirloom classic, that will take your breath away!
Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
Note - The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes only.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
