A delicate ensemble, pairing an organza-layered silken kurta with our delightful checkered handloom dupatta. A contemporary pairing, tinged with sweet nostalgia of the past!
Color - A beautiful shade of Light Beige with delicate pink checks
Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Katan silk
Speciality - Inspired by the imperfect impressions made on paper, by roses dipped in Indian Ink, our Inkling dupatta has beautiful kadhua meenakari buds across the body and delightful rose vines along the border, over a bed of checks.
Top & Bottom
Color - A gorgeous shade of Mulberry Red
Fabric - Pure silk inner kurta & pants, Pure Silk Organza overlay
Speciality - The organza overlay is hand-embroidered with dainty rose buds in resham and zari.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of handloom beauties?
