The patterns are made using discontinuous brocading of heavier threads on a lighter, translucent backdrop of fabric, akin to loom-embroidery.

• Speciality - With zari threads made of real silver, this is a Banarasi gem. Its corners are adorned by koniyas of incredible detailing. Woven in the exquisite Jamdani technique once reserved for the royalty, this is a rare saree, made especially for the discerning.
