'One Hundred Flowers' Rust Red Pure Katan Silk Real Zari Banarasi Handloom Saree

SRKKJRD10368

One Hundred Flowers

An exquisite, evocative silken classic that speaks of knowledge and artistry. Inspired by the meaningful beauty of East Asian gardens and their fabled atmosphere, and propelled by the finest heritage Banarasi craftsmanship. Dazzling in its ability to convey simultaneously both natural beauty and symbolic meaning.

  • Color - An exquisite shade of Rust Red
  • Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
  • Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Katan silk
  • Speciality - A heritage ogival pattern made using florals inspired from Asian art and crafted in the finest real zari and kadhua meenakari. Inspired by the Oriental art of scroll paintings, our weave is a catalyst for feelings and philosophical ideas transcending the physical experience of the drape. Peony Pavilion unfolds as a revelation, demanding dedicated attention to reveal the blooming delicacy of its poetic language.
  • Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
  • Note - The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes.
