Be mesmerised by the arresting weaves on our regal Shikaargah dupatta! Fascinating Tanchoi work creates a veritable forest of Resham vines and a playground for the zari animal figures. This is handcrafted luxury.
-
Color - A stunning shot colour with a warp of Red and a weft of Indian Pink, which results in different hues at different angles of falling light.
-
Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Tanchoi technique. Kadwa weaving is an elaborate and laborious technique which involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern which stands out on the fabric. Tanchoi employs one or more warps and multiple coloured wefts to produce a self-design which covers the body of the fabric.
-
Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Katan silk
-
Speciality - With a melange of motifs of birds, animals, flora and fauna, Shikaargah is a testament to the skill of our weavers and the wonders they are capable of. This is woven art and a Banarasi masterpiece.
-
Tilfi Promise - Pure fabrics and genuine Banarasi handloom at a fair price

Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But isn't it charming that no-one else will ever own this beauty, handmade just for you?
