Jayati
Crafted in the exquisite Jamdani technique, Jayati reveals a distinctive contrast of vibrant petals on a light grey pure cotton muslin, brought together by subtle vines of Real Zari and accentuated with a timeless koniya paisley.
-
Color - A delicate shade of Light Grey
-
Technique - Magical Jamdani and masterly Meenakari. A technique that traces its roots to the region of Dhaka in Bangladesh, Jamdani is known for its extremely fine quality and ethereal appeal. The patterns are made using discontinuous brocading of heavier threads on a lighter, translucent backdrop of fabric, akin to loom-embroidery. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
-
Fabric - Light and airy, pure cotton
-
Speciality - With zari threads made of real silver and vibrant Meenakari, this is a handloom masterpiece. Woven in the exquisite Jamdani technique once reserved for the royalty, this is a rare saree, made especially for the discerning.
-
Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
- Note - The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
