A conscientiously woven drape that breathes new life to age-old Banarasi artistry. A subtle nod to vintage weaves, the saree features a marvellous shower of falling leaves and blooming bootis in zari and meenakari, complete with an arresting floral boota aanchal. A delicately shimmering, irresistible handloom beauty, woven in pure katan silk tissue.
Color - A soft and soothing shade of Light Pink
Technique - The finest Tissue weaving where our master craftsmen use zari yarns in the warp and weft along with silk to add a gorgeous lustre to the fabric. An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
Fabric - Magnificent and shimmering, pure Katan Silk Tissue
Speciality - A sublime saree, handcrafted in the enduring kadhua weave with masterly meenakari and luminous tissue. Each bud, leaf and flower has been individually woven, requiring 42 hand movements for a single line of weaving.
Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
- Note - The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
