Beautiful, old-world charm from the oldest living city. This is an elegant, quintessential Banarasi saree with dainty motifs in gold and silver zari and an enchanting floral meenakari border and pallu in paithani style. Traditional, time-honoured silken art.
Color - A beautiful shade of Mustard
Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Katan silk
Speciality - A timeless classic with exquisite roopa sona kadwa bootis and meenakari. A melange of the best of Banarasi weaves!
Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
Note- The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
