Magical Kadhua Dampach and masterly Meenakari. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. The extraordinary Dampach style ensures a distinguished subtlety in the pattern. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
