A red pure satin silk Banarasi saree adorned with resham Meenakari bootis on the body, undulating floral vines on the borders, and an array of intricate classical motifs and lattice patterns layered on the pallu.

• Technique - The finest Tanchoi weaving technique, which employs one or more warps and multiple coloured wefts to produce a self-design which covers the body of the saree.  Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
