'Nadira' Gold Pure Katan Silk Tissue Real Zari Banarasi Handloom Saree

A radiant gold Katan silk Tissue drape, with an aadha (diagonal) jangla pattern that juxtaposes tenderly woven vines with starry maroon four-pointed shapes for visual curiosity. Echoing distinctly Mughal artistic motifs, small irises and poppies grace the body and the borders, achieving a precisely poetic woven composition elevated with accents of pure silver zari.

  • Color - A glorious shade of Gold
  • Fabric - Soft and delicately shimmering, pure Katan silk Tissue
  • Technique - An enduring Kadwa weave. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
  • Speciality - This saree is a woven wonder of breathtaking eloquence yet enchanting subtlety. Featuring the finest artistry in real silver zari, it is woven by some of the most accomplished craftsmen in Banaras today. A rare saree, made especially for the discerning.
  • Collection NoteDistinguished by its creative rendition of designs that reflect a heritage steeped in artistry, the Tilfi Kala collection draws inspiration from the mesmerising intricacy of old Mughal miniature art and architecture, bringing it to life on textiles through masterful craftsmanship.
  • Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
  • Note - The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes.

Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
