We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our new store in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be passionate about luxury fashion, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a deep appreciation for high-quality craftsmanship. This role is pivotal in ensuring the store's success, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and upholding Tilfi's values and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Store Launch and Setup

  • Oversee the final stages of the store's setup and interior finishing, liaise with interior designer and contractor for completion.
  • Coordinate with local representatives and authorities to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.

Store Operations Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and adherence to store policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and reflects Tilfi’s brand aesthetic and values.
  • Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, implementing strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.

Customer Experience:

  • Deliver an exceptional and personalized shopping experience to every customer, fostering a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere.
  • Train and motivate store staff to provide outstanding customer service, ensuring they are knowledgeable about Tilfi’s products and craftsmanship.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly, striving to exceed customer expectations.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing store team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, integrity, and a passion for luxury fashion, textiles and art.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive store traffic and achieve sales goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute in-store events, promotions, and product launches.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.

Inventory and Stock Management:

  • Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure accurate product availability.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and stock replenishments.
  • Implement effective loss prevention measures to safeguard store assets.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Regularly report sales and inventory data to headquarters, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide detailed insights and analysis on store performance, customer trends, and inventory levels.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with HQ, addressing any issues or opportunities promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager, preferably in luxury fashion or high-end retail.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of retail operations, sales techniques, and inventory management.
  • Passion for luxury fashion, textiles, and craftsmanship, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
  • Proficiency in using retail management software and MS Office applications.
