Butterflies among Wildflowers

With the pleasant fragrance of nature wafting through its silken folds, this elegant drape is an invitation to the tranquility of East Asian gardens. Immerse yourself in this poetic scene with butterflies hovering over a bed of wildflowers and intimately experience the best of heritage Indian craftsmanship.

  • Color - A delicate shade of Pastel Green
  • Technique An enduring Kadwa weave and fine Meenakari technique. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric. Meenakari involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process.
  • Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Katan silk
  • Speciality - A gorgeously detailed roopa sona zari floral border and a pallu adorned with dainty meenakari butterflies. Inspired by the Oriental art of scroll paintings, our weave not only portrays the outer beauty of its motifs, but also conveys the subtle spirit of love through the natural attraction of butterflies and wildflowers. Peony Pavilion unfolds as a revelation, demanding dedicated attention to reveal the blooming delicacy of its poetic language.
  • Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
  • Note - The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes.

Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
