Take a journey with us through silken jungles with this enchanting saree, our most exquisite Shikaargah woven entirely in multihued resham. With luxurious and incredibly detailed Meenakari weaving, this is a handcrafted passage through Indian wilderness, history and heritage.
Color - An elegant Off-White
Technique - Classic handwoven Banarasi art passed down through generations. Fine Meenakari technique which involves the painstaking addition of supplementary coloured resham threads during the hand-weaving process. An enduring Kadwa weave. The elaborate and laborious Kadwa (Kadhua) technique involves hand-weaving each motif separately. It takes longer on the handloom, but makes a more robust pattern, which stands out on the fabric.
Fabric - Soft as butter, pure Katan silk
Speciality - With a melange of motifs of birds, animals, flora and fauna, Shikaargah is a testament to the skill of our weavers and the wonders they are capable of. This is woven art and a Banarasi masterpiece.
Tilfi Promise - Pure. Handloom. Banaras.
Note- The saree comes with its own blouse piece. The model is wearing a separate blouse for styling purposes.
Since this product is handwoven, there might be slight irregularities. But don't you think these add to the singular charm of a handloom beauty?
